The San Francisco-based peer-to-peer online platform for recreational vehicles was looking to connect with RV owners whose rigs sat idle in their driveways 11 months a year and a whole new generation of road travellers.
Outdoorsy. The AirBnB of RVs.
Outdoorsy is more than a marketplace. It’s a mindset. Never Idle became the rallying cry for both the RV owners who had rigs sitting in their driveways and those looking to rent an RV to explore the open road. The launch campaign celebrated the freedom of the road and one of the most iconic, breathtaking routes in the United States: the California Coast.
Never idle.
A lean crew of storytellers and an RV.
A crew of storytellers packed into RVs and travelled along the California coast to meet with real people, who know the road real well, and we gathered endless assets for the Outdoorsy launch.
LA-based musicians Odd Us performed their track “Home” live in Joshua Tree along our route. The performance became the Outdoorsy anthem used on all our films.

A feast prepared in an Airstream.
To demonstrate the possibilities of the road, we invited an LA-based chef to prepare a gorgeous meal. The dinner for 10 was prepped in the Airstream and cooked on the open fire.
The footage and photography was used for public relations, the website, social media, investor documents, pre-roll & banner campaigns.
A week long trip. Content for days.
